Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Wrap Recipe

Wraps are a typically Middle Eastern food. They are also great ‘grab and go’ grub. The Mediterranean Chicken Wrap is delicious, mouth-watering and nutritious too. Thin strips of grilled chicken tenders are wrapped with fresh herbs, spices and a mix of greens to create an ‘all in one’ that is as fresh as it is tempting. Hummus or a yogurt dressing is often used, but it can also be enjoyed just as is. Wraps make for great substitutes for salads since they are not just healthy but more filling. Enjoy them as they are or with a glass of wine on the side.



  • For grilling the chicken
  • Boneless chicken breasts – 200 g
  • Dried oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Dried rosemary – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
  • For the Wrap
  • Whole wheat tortilla – 4
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Hummus – 1/4 cup
  • Lettuce – 8-10 leaves
  • Cucumber – 1 ( Cut into thin slices )
  • Cherry tomato – 10-12 ( Cut into halves )
  • Feta cheese – 100 g ( Crumbled )


  1. Wash the chicken breasts and pound them to even thickness using a pounder.
  2. Cut the tenders into pieces.
  3. Mix oregano, rosemary, cumin powder, salt and garlic powder in a  bowl.
  4. Apply it evenly over the tenders.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan.
  6. Transfer the tenders to the pan and cook until browned.
  7. Remove them on a plate once done from both the sides.
  8. Heat another pan and brush it with olive oil.
  9. Keep a tortilla in the pan and cook from both the sides until warm.
  10. Remove it from a platform.
  11. Apply some hummus on the tortilla.
  12. Keep a layer of lettuce in the centre.
  13. Keep some chicken tenders, cucumber, cherry tomato and feta cheese in the centre.
  14. Roll the tortilla to make a wrap.
  15. Serve immediately.
